With his two underlings, a fierce ringleader plans a swift armed robbery of a jeweler in an industrial building. After the people at the jewellery company have been subdued, a security guard manages to escape to an adjacent unit. The robbers chase after him and hold hostage of a mysterious man and his daughter from that unit. The mysterious man is a mad doctor who has hidden indoors with his daughter for years.
His wife died from the SARS virus, and it happens that his daughter is a host of the virus, who shows no symptoms due to the presence of antibody. In hope of discovering a new vaccine against the SARS virus, the doctor has been using corpses and living humans for secretive experiments and research. During a struggle, the girl bites the hand of a robber, who then turns into a bloodthirsty zombie. As a domino effect, many people are turning into zombies and starting to attack the livings, and soon the whole building becomes a pandemonium of living corpses.
The security guard tries to escape with the girl, but they run into the ringleader. Learning that the whole building is infected with the deadly virus, and that the girl is the host of the virus, the ringleader strives to stop them from leaving in fear of spreading the virus to the outside world. The ringleader with stern righteousness and the ferocious security guard each sticking to his guns, they must settle it in a bloodshed duel. As his two underlings turn into zombies one by one, the grievous ringleader resolves to eliminate all the zombies singlehandedly. The trio are trapped in the infected building with hundreds of sanguinary mutated zombies, who will eventually break out of hell?

Das ist ja mal ein beknackter Trailer. Haben die beim Dreh den Entschleunigungsknopf gedrückt? Da kommen doch gleich wehmütige Erinnerungen ans Studium hoch, als wir solche Filme häufiger geschaut haben.

Muß ja gestehen, wir haben beim Studium andere Filme geschaut, v.a. viel Seagal um oder eher kurz vor der Jahrtausendwende, also Fire Down Below, The Patriot und zum Frühstück auch gerne mal die Anfangssequenz von Saving Private Ryan auf dem von der Universität ausgeliehenen Beamer in der Küche, was allerdings nicht meine Idee gewesen ist.
Dieses Konstrukt hier hab ich mir jetzt mal bestellt, da seit gut einem Jahr als DVD und VCD und dies mit UT und Regionalcodefrei erhältlich; also kundenfreundlicher geht es nun wirklich nicht und das wird nun auch honoriert. Der Regisseur hat mit seinem Trupp seitdem gar noch einen Tournament - Zweiteiler hingelegt, der gleich mit in den Warenkorb gewandert ist. Brauch ich die Kneifzange zum Auspacken nur einmal hervorholen.
Zudem sind die beiden bisherigen 'offiziellen' und regulär (mit Geld) produzierten Vertreter Zombie 108 und Zombie Fight Club auch schon mies genug gewesen.
